House cleaning in Washington Park and Platt Park
Our office is on South Pearl, so this is home turf: Marisol cleaned her first houses on Franklin and Gilpin in 2008, and about a third of our recurring clients live between Alameda and Evans. Most of the houses are 1920s brick bungalows with one or two original bathrooms, mixed in with the big rebuilds that went up after 2000.

What we see in these houses
Original oak floors with gaps between the boards that hold grit. We vacuum those with a crevice tool before mopping and use a barely damp microfiber pad, never a steam mop. The bathrooms are small and tiled to the ceiling, so a deep clean spends more time on grout than square footage would suggest.
The park brings dogs. Expect us to ask about yours when you book, because two or more shedding dogs add about 20 minutes to a standard clean.
Parking and access
Street parking is easy everywhere except the blocks next to the park on summer weekends. Many houses here have alley garages, and a garage code is the simplest way to let us in.
Questions from neighbors
Can you clean original wood floors without damaging them?
Yes. We use a pH-neutral cleaner and a microfiber pad wrung almost dry. If your floors have a wax finish rather than polyurethane, tell us and we will only dust-mop them.
Do you clean the old radiators?
We dust the tops and the fins we can reach with a radiator brush. We don’t take covers off or bleed them.
About 2 hours on site. Two cleaners, supplies included. Card charged after the clean.
No travel fee. Same prices as everywhere else in our service area.
